shipping policy
By placing an order for an alcoholic beverage through our website, you formally represent that you are at least 21 years of age and that the intended recipient of the shipment is at least 21 years of age. If ordering in our tasting room, a physical government issued photo ID is required for purchase.
- Federal law and UPS policy require a signature to be obtained from a sober individual over the age of 21 for all wine shipments. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a legal adult is available to sign for the wine shipment upon delivery.
- UPS will attempt delivery up to three times before sending wine shipments back to Mari Vineyards. Please be aware that Mari Vineyards will charge customers for repeat shipping if required.
- UPS legally cannot deliver wine to PO boxes nor will UPS leave packages on the doorstop, even if the recipient has left a note with this request.
- Wines purchased from Mari Vineyards are not for resale, and are for personal consumption only. Please contact our Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Bonnie Hardin - bonnie@marivineyards.com regarding wholesale orders.
Where Mari Currently Ships to
At this time we can ship wine to the following states: California, Colorado, Washington DC, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Orgeon, and Wisconsin.
Please note that we are currently unable to ship wine internationally.
Shipping Method
All wine is shipped via UPS GROUND using current market rates. Packages are shipped Monday-Wednesday each week; orders placed by 9am will ship out the same day, with later orders shipping on the next available shipping day (M,T,W) or following week.
If you would like your package sent via a faster shipping method or if your order is time sensitive, please contact our Tasting Room Manager, Andy Jacobson - andy@marivineyards.com. Be aware that higher shipping rates will occur for faster shipping.
If more convenient, Mari Vineyards recommends shipping to your place of business to ensure a legal adult is available upon delivery.
Tracking
An email address and phone number are required for tracking purposes when placing an order. After your order is processed by the winery, an email with your tracking number will be generated and sent to you. If you do not receive a tracking number and would like one, please contact the tasting room.
Rerouting
We encourage customers wanting to reroute their package to contact UPS Package Intercept with their tracking info handy. If you would like Mari to reroute the package for you, please contact andy@marivineyards.com. Once your order has been processed and a change of address is required while in route, a reroute charge will be applied to the order.
Return of Package
If you are unable to sign for your wine package on any of the 3 delivery attempts, UPS will return your package back to Mari Vineyards. You will then have the option to hold the package for pick up or reship it for an additional fee.
Refused shipments are subject to a $25.00 restocking fee.
Weather
Please consider the weather between Mari Vineyards and your shipping destination. If extreme heat or cold is occuring, we recommend delaying your order until milder weather prevails. Extreme temperatures can result in damaged products—leakage, freezing, and cork pushing. Once wine leaves the winery, Mari Vineyards is not responsible for damaged wine due to adverse weather conditions.
Note: We may hold your order until weather reaches a safe temperature for shipping (>25°F). Packages are shipped Monday-Wednesday only to ensure extreme weather conditions or temperature variances do not affect your wine.
Apparel Orders
Mari Vineyards currently utilizes USPS flat rate shipping for apparel orders. In the event that wine and apparel are purchased together, UPS becomes the default carrier for the total order. Apparel ordered online is processed through our tasting room and is subject to on site inventory restrictions.
