Welcome to the New Villa Mari Vineyards Website

We would like to welcome you to our new website and let you know who we are and what you can expect from Villa Mari Vineyards. First, to give you a little history, we began our journey into wine-growing during the summer of 1999 by planting our first vineyard. After a few years of cultivation and hard-work, we produced our flagship red wine Row 7 which received glowing reviews for its unique flavors and refined taste. With the strong support of local wineries and the community, we have been able to grow over 20 acres of vineyards on Old Mission Peninsula and have started construction of our new winery.

The new winery on Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City will allow us to further develop our wines and help bring more attention to Michigan wines as a whole. The winery will feature a beautiful panoramic view of East Bay with a large outdoor patio to enjoy the sun while tasting our wines. In addition, we will be offering tours of our underground caverns which will take you below the winery where you can see how our wines are made and stored.
