Having successfully made several lush and rich vintages of Merlot on Old Mission Peninsula, Winemaker Sean O’Keefe notes that growing this grape in a truly cool climate like Northern Michigan is special and something to be proud of. A softer and more fruit forward wine, our Merlot is blended with just a touch of impactful Refosco, adding a silty smooth tannic structure that bolsters the overall blend.
